In the middle of the chaos of the city, where the lights don’t go out and the routine becomes dull, a well-known group of friends is about to live a night they won’t easily forget…
It was a random Friday and, as usual, Karen, Matt, and Norman were in Matt’s small apartment debating, about where to go to hang out…
Guys, we need to go out tonight. I can’t stand another night stuck in here!
Yeah, but where? Everywhere’s the same these days…
Come on, Matt. You’re just too lazy to get off that couch. Let’s hit that new rooftop club Karen was talking about.
Exactly! They say the view is amazing, and the music… oh, the music!
Fine, fine. But I’m not wearing anything fancy tonight, ok?
But that evening, something changed. Karen received an unexpected message that would cause her plans for the night to take a different turn…
Wait, guys… This message… It’s from… Lynn?
Lynn? The Lynn who vanished a year ago?
You mean the Lynn who bailed on you without even a goodbye? That Lynn?
Yes, Norman, that Lynn. She says she’s in town… but… look at this. She’s asking for help… She says she’s in trouble.
Lynn, the young actress who used to be the center of their group, had disappeared without a trace over a year ago. No one knew what had happened to her after she returned to her hometown of Los Angeles, and although everyone tried to move on, the void she left behind was evident. Karen had always felt that something didn’t add up about Lynn’s disappearance, but she had never imagined receiving a message from her, much less like this.
Let me see that. This doesn’t make any sense. Lynn wouldn’t just… reappear like this, right?
Maybe she got kidnapped in the desert filming a movie, and now she’s back!
Yeah, and she built a suit of armor to fight her way out.
Lynn Stark, reporting for duty!
The laughter relaxed them a bit, but the worry was still there. Lynn’s message was not only odd, but also a little disturbing.
Guys, what if she’s really in trouble? We can’t just ignore this.
Yeah, you’re right, Matt! We need to find out where she is. But first, we need to know if it’s really her. I’m going to call her.
There’s no answer and my messages are not going through.
Classic Lynn.
There’s only one way to know for sure… We’re going to have to follow the clues she left.
Clues? What are you talking about?
Before leaving for L.A. she mentioned something weird about the old bookstore ‘The Last Page’. Do you remember?
“See you guys at ‘The Last Page’” that’s what she said. I always thought it was some sort of west coast expression.
No, ‘The Last Page’ is where she used to hang out and study her theater scripts… But that place has been closed for months.
Great, so now we’re supposed to break into an abandoned bookstore in Queens? I knew tonight was going to be interesting.
And so, with a mixture of humor and concern, the three friends embarked on a search for Lynn. What started out as a normal night would soon turn into an adventure that would take them to the strangest corners of the city.
As the night progressed, the city felt a little… different. As they reached the old neighborhood where “The Last Page” was, an uneasy feeling began to grow among them. As if someone was watching them…
Guys, I don’t like this. It’s too quiet here.
We’ll be fine, Karen. We just need to get in and see if we can find anything out about Lynn.
And if we find any ghosts, we can just ask them for directions.
The bookstore was as dark as ever, with dust everywhere and a smell of old books that had been forgotten. But what they did not expect to find was the light of a lantern on one of the tables…
That’s weird… Someone’s been here recently.
Or someone’s still here…
Great… umm... So we’re not alone after all, uh? Who wants to say hi first?
Before they could move, a shadow slipped quickly into the darkness, leaving them frozen in place…
Did you guys see that?!
Yeah… We need to get out of here. Now.
What if it is Lynn? We can’t leave without knowing!
The tension was palpable, and just when it seemed they could take no more… A game is about to begin that will test these good friends and lead them to discover truths they never imagined…
